Multiple email addresses have now been split into a primary address used by the website, and a Second Email stored in your User Profile.  The Second Email may be extracted to build email lists for bulk emailing outside the website, or manually by administrators.  This is to bring the site into alignment with standard DotNetNuke which requires one unique email address per user.

The Southern Tablelands 4WD Club Inc is based in Canberra, the National Capital of Australia, and is the largest 4WD Club in the region. The Club was established in 1976 and has some 470 members catering for traditional 4 wheel drive vehicles.

Improving driver skills through training is an important aim of our club. A range of driver education courses at basic and advanced levels are provided; basic training for novices is a prerequisite for participation in most Club trips, while the advanced training is recommended for drivers when they have gained more experience and want to develop competence and confidence in negotiating more challenging terrain.

Trips conducted throughout the year may vary from one day or across a weekend to scenic and mountainous areas around the south coast, central highlands and Victorian alpine country. Longer trips to Cape York, Simpson Desert, Kimberleys and many other destinations are organised on a seasonal basis. These trips, together with a series of social functions, are all planned to provide club members with safe, enjoyable and rewarding recreational experiences. Family involvement is encouraged at all Club functions including Basic Driver training.

Why not attend a Club meeting to find out more. The best time may even be before you have made your vehicle selection! Enjoy your visit to our Web site and we welcome any questions you may have.
